Manasi Gokhale, Akshay Deshmukh & Jesal Shah
Manasi Gokhale, was born with severe-to-profound hearing loss in both ears. Through the support of her family, teachers, audiologists, therapists, and her own hard work, Manasi has become a college-educated, independent, social, young woman, who is employed at AXA Business Services as a Graphic Designer.
Akshay Deshmukh, was 2-years old when he was diagnosed with bilateral severe which led to profound deafness. His parents taught him English at home to prepare him to get admission in a normal school. This brilliant boy went on to become an Electronic Engineer and was enrolled at Rochester Institute of Technology in US. In 2012, he decided to come back to India. Now he works at Bank of Maharashtra’s IT department as network and security engineer.
Jesal Shah, has partial hearing and speech problems, but is a qualified interior designer and has excelled through hard work and talent. Today she is the Creative Director at a Private firm in Mumbai. She had designed the interiors of some of Mumbai’s finest Hotels.
