Prerna Sahane

Prerana was only 6 months old when she suffered a severe paralytic attack. She lost her hearing ability, as a result of which, she is unable to speak as well. Prerana rose above her impairment and attended a regular school. Under her Guru’s guidance she blossomed as a beautiful Bharatnatyam dancer and began participating in several dance competitions. Prerana was accorded with the National Award by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, for being a role model among the disabled category (deaf) in 2016.
