Rajnikant Mashelkar
Rajnikant Mashelkar, is a 62 year old life guard who has saved as many as 407 lives in a span of 35 years. He joined the BMC in 1978 as a life guard with his first posting at Juhu Beach. He retired in November 2013 but still coaches other life guards on weekends and holidays to help save lives. He is a true inspiration.
