
Roshan Shaikh
In October 2008, Dr. Roshan Shaikh was on her way back home from college when she was pushed out of a crowded train. The incident left her amputated legs, but that didn’t deter her spirit. Despite facing several challenges, such as, being rejected from the handicapped quota in medical college, she fought to become a doctor. She emerged successful and is currently doing her internship at KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India.
