Dharavi’s 23-year-old football star Gulafsha Ansari is not one to rest on her laurels. Gulafsha is an Indian Footballer from the slums of Dharavi who has started her own football school to transform the lives of the underprivileged girls! After participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup’s Football for Hope and representing Maharashtra at numerous national tournaments, her dream is to create an Under-12, 14 & 16 professional league from the slums. She currently coaches 50 girls from the slums, most of them are kids of single working mothers, cleaners, etc.
