Mumtaz, a poor Muslim slum dweller adopted a 2 day-old-baby girl abandoned by her Hindu parents at a Crematorium in Tuljapur (Sholapur District). She faced severe opposition for the adoption from the Muslim community and her own relatives. She relocated to Mumbai due to constant threat by the society. By God’s grace the little girl, Sanam today is 5 years old and is a brilliant student.
