In a village in Uttarakhand, when a cheetah attacked her house, Kamla Devi did not succumb. It pounced on her, but she simply clutched his throat with one hand, and with the other, she started beating him constantly over and over again. Eventually, it became unconscious and Kamla Devi’s story became the stuff of legends.
