Karan Shah
Karan is 20 years old who was born with spinal muscular atrophy Type III. He is a certified canine trainer and behaviourist. Karan & Angel (his dog) go to schools, colleges, NGO’s, old age homes, etc. and raise awareness on how a dog could change a life. They do therapy sessions with kids and have seen tears of joy on the kids’ faces when they speak to Angel. He trains dogs for the people who are like him whom he terms #DifferentlyNormal, trying to make a difference in their lives too like how Angel made a difference in his life! “I feel, the award is more deserved to Angel than me!”, says Karan.
