Sushil Shimpi
Sushil met with a railway accident on May 12, 2011(Jalgaon). He slipped from the train and lost both his legs. After 6 months of bed rest he got artificial limbs/prosthetics. Sushil didn’t lose his spirit to live life and successfully trekked the “Kalsubai peak” which is the highest peak in Maharashtra. In 2016, Sushil and his friend Vinod Rawat (also a single amputee) rode a Bullet to Ladakh to give tribute to our soldiers who we lost in URI attack. From 30th July to 10th August Sushil did a cycling expedition from Manali to Khardungla (highest motorable road in world) 18380ft.
