World Ozone Day
Here’s what Team Ample did on 16th September!
It is no secret that the Earth is in trouble due to Ozone layer depletion and we can play a crucial role to save it. Our inspired Team Ample did a tree plantation drive at the Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai to create awareness on the issue.
Our enthusiastic team began with clearing off the unwanted weed and growth from the area to retain the nutrients in the soil.
The next step of digging a hole to plant the sapling was the real test of our strength!
We then carefully placed the sapling in the hole and filled it up mud.
Once done with the plantation, we watered the plant thoroughly.
As we were done, a little bit of rain to add to the fun was just what we were hoping for!
Global warming is a scientific fact as much as the hole in the ozone layer. Protecting our planet is a moral imperative so let’s do our bit as responsible citizens.
