World Cancer Free Day
The Ample team brought smiles to the faces of kids undergoing cancer treatment
On 23rd September 2018, we visited a shelter in Dadar which houses more than 100 cancer-struck families from all over India. Each of whom have a relative, majorly children, undergoing treatment at the Tata Memorial Hospital.

“How will playing games and dancing help a cancer patient?”
The power of a few moments of joy is severely underestimated. Our goal was to give the children enough happy memories to support them through the intensive process of cancer treatment. In an atmosphere of remorse, dancing and playing with members of the Ample team gave the children and their parents a getaway from their daily struggle.

We presented the children with superhero masks, which uplifted their spirits to another level! We had the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, and Spiderman!

..while the adorable young women dressed up as fairies and cured everyone with their infectious smiles!

Towards the end of the session, we left the children and their families with a healthy treat, apples and pears, which would help in their treatment!

Check out the video to see how much fun it was! Maybe you can join us next time!
