Air hostess turned social worker!

A victim of the terror attack in Brussels, she still doesn’t hate terrorists!

Nidhi had been keeping herself busy with various endeavors both at personal and social front. This year she was appointed to be a member of WANGO – the US based social organization, to be their Ambassador to empower women and victims of terror attacks. Nidhi is super excited about her new role to serve and inspire the people globally. She says, “What empowers me – My inner resilience & a fearless spirit.”

Nidhi wants to work with all kind of people and wherever there is need for her involvement. She is very familiar with the aftermath of grievous injuries both physical and emotional as a terror victim and wants to reach out to other victims to heal them. “I look at it in this way – to give hope to others that life is a case of ups and downs. It is like a roller coaster — you will be up, you will be down. It moves fast, it moves slow,” she says.

She was invited to talk on ‘youth’ at the European Union conference at Brussels where she spoke on the menace of terrorism that’s influencing and misguiding youth to take the path of hatred in the name of religion. She is using her influence as a globally known face of a terror victim for the awareness and giving hope those who have none.

Nidhi Chaphekar is also the proud recipient of the Ample Missiion’s Shoorveer Awards for Bravery. We wish her success in all her present and future endeavours and hope she will continue to inspire and do her share for the society against terrorism and women empowerment. Bravo girl!
