She was a gold medalist in Karate at the Commonwealth Games 2015. She is indebted to her Karate Teachers Salauddin Ansari & Shaheen Ansari who had a positive influence on her and laid a strong foundation for her sporting career in martial arts. In 2017 she again won the gold medal at the South Asian Karate Championship in Colombo. She said, “Life is all about choices, what you choose, you become!”
The versatile fashion model and electrifying Bollywood actress “Sandhya Shetty” made heads turn when she celebrated the International “Women’s Day” with the legendary Actor Rajnikanth in Chennai on 8th March 2018. Sandhya did a scintillating title song of filmmaker Priyadarshan’s Tamil film ‘Nimir’ packed with lots of love and laughter.
Although she has been complimented several times for her looks, she chooses to graciously acknowledge them.
Unfortunately, right now, Sandhya is nursing an injury and she has had to return from Asian Games ongoing camp at Bhopal. She confesses her biggest assets have been her never say die positivity and no nonsense attitude!
